I accessing them the same way as the shared folders (\\server\name) and I've tried giving 'Everyone' complete rights to the printer. The same thing cannot be said for the printers. no changes needed on the Win7 computers at all. After setting the correct security rights for the group 'Everyone' it just worked. It was pretty straight forward to share the folders on the new Win10 computer without credentials.
I have File and Printer sharing turned on. This computer is replacing an existing Windows 7 computer that shared it's folders and printers. I'm installing a Windows 10 Pro computer in a Windows 7 peer-to-peer network (6 users).
